Elise MacDonald
After receiving a music education degree from Berklee College of Music, I have worked as a music educator in high school and private instruction settings for nearly three decades. I am a longtime multi-instrumentalist, playing flute, fretless electric bass, and piano.
In the late '90s, I founded Two Rivers Music Studios, a community music school in Peterborough, NH, where I maintained a large flute studio. For nearly 15 years, I taught high school music with a focus on jazz combo and chamber ensemble coaching, music theory classes, and music history classes.
From 2008 through 2013, I served as social media manager, talent buyer, and musician/host at Studio 99, a small but critically acclaimed listening room in Nashua, NH. During my tenure there, Studio 99 hosted open mics, jam sessions across a wide array of genres, and concerts by John Abercrombie, Liz Longley, Kate Taylor, George Garzone, Brown Bird, Brooks Williams, and many more. Studio 99 was the first home of Piano Karaoke's sessions.
